Everything you need to know about your vacation with your dog at Bergzeit – from A for exercise to Z for petting.

Together with our experienced dog trainer Matthias, you and your four-legged friend can get a taste of agility training during the summer months. The 90-minute introduction starts every Sunday at 10 a.m. on the dog meadow.
Register until Saturday at 5 pm at the reception.
Costs: € 45,00 / dog
A small emergency pharmacy for dogs is available at reception.

Freezer compartments for BARF are located on level -1, directly by the Fellness area. We are happy to mark the compartment with the room number.
Dog sitting can be booked separately at a price of € 30.00 per hour. Please book the session in advance so that we have a suitable supervisor on site.
We have provided an orthopaedic dog bed in the room for your four-legged friend. For reasons of hygiene and consideration for the next guest, dogs are not allowed in the bed.
We have put together an exclusive selection of accessories, toys, collars and fine dog leads for you. Our boutique is located in the Fellnes area.
Dogs are allowed on public transport free of charge. At the Grossarl cable cars a dog ticket costs € 6.00. Please note that dogs must be kept on a lead and wear a muzzle.

In our dog grooming salon, we offer a wide range of furness treatments – individually tailored to the breed, coat type and needs of your four-legged friend.
Tuesday from 13:00 and Friday from 08:00.
Please fix the appointment by 17:00 the day before.
Unique photos of your darling? These are particularly successful on a relaxed vacation. Our photographer Michael will come directly to the hotel. Please contact reception and we will discuss everything else.
The two free-range zones are located at the main entrance and in the garden. Your dog can run around freely here. Please also use “Gaggerl ins Sackerl” here.
Our experienced dog trainer Charly is in the lounge every Sunday from 17:00 to 18:00. He answers your questions about dogs, vacations and hiking and gives valuable tips for a successful coexistence. Participation in the question and answer session is free of charge.
You can order fish cooked dog dishes from the breakfast waiter. Simply pick it up at reception at feeding time. You can eat in your room, on the balcony or in the garden.
The restaurant areas are food-free zones.

For short walks, we will reliably take care of your pet. Of course, we will keep you informed about the progress of each walk – even with a photo update if you wish.
Please book your appointment in advance.

Several walking and dog-walking trails start directly from the hotel. These are marked on the walking map
The footpath right next to our garden is also illuminated in the evening.
Once a week we offer a wonderful walk together with our dog trainer Charly. Participation is free of charge. You can find out more at our reception.

Dog towels are marked with a paw print and can be found in the entrance areas, the wooden hut by the fountain and in the Fellness area.
The white towels are reserved exclusively for people.

To ensure that all guests, walkers – and of course our four-legged friends – feel completely at ease, we ask you to dispose of your pet’s droppings.
You will find a practical dispenser with dog bags in every room. If this should ever be empty, you can of course get a refill at reception. There are numerous disposal options in the hotel area and throughout the Grossarl Valley.
Spoil your furry friend with homemade dog biscuits.
You will find it in the fridge next to the checkroom – free to take throughout the day.

Out of consideration for other guests and dogs, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate bitches in heat.
Dogs must be kept on a leash in the hotel and throughout the complex without exception.

Municipality of Hüttschlag: no leash requirement, except at the head of the valley.

There is a locked garbage can on each balcony for empty food cans and organic waste.

The natural dog beach of the Grossarler Arche is located right next to the hotel, inviting you to play and refresh yourself. Even masters and mistresses are allowed into the cool water!
However, use is at your own risk.
There is a water and food bowl and a golden food spoon in the room for each dog. If you need any other utensils, please contact reception.
Dirty bowls can be exchanged at reception at any time or given to our good souls in housekeeping.
Please note: All cutlery and crockery in the restaurant is intended for human use.

Your dog is welcome in the restaurant area. We ask you not to bring your dog to the buffet.
To avoid stressful situations with other dogs, we ask that dogs are fed in the room, on the balcony or in the garden. The restaurant areas are a food-free zone.

Together with our dog trainer Charly, we start our Social Walk once a week. Here, humans and animals can gain relaxed experience in dog encounters. Please register at reception by 5.00 pm the day before.
Participation is free of charge!
So that neither you nor your four-legged friend get bored, we offer you a selection of dog toys to borrow from reception.

You are welcome to wash and pamper your dog yourself in the grooming area. There is another dog shower by the fountain in the garden.
You will find drinking stations at the entrance areas and on the terrace. There is also a drinking bowl in the room.
Please note that the neighboring meadow does not belong to the hotel. The grass is used as fodder for the cows and therefore dogs are not tolerated here.
