Dog trainer Matthias Hundehotel Bergzeit

Our dog trainer Matthias

Matthias Andexer lives in St. Johann im Pongau and has been supporting Hotel Bergzeit since June 2025 with his expertise and enthusiasm for dogs of all breeds and characters. He offers professional dog training under the name “Mobiler-Hundetrainer-Matthias” – with a special focus on dogs with behavioral problems.

Whether aggressive dogs, insecure animals or a young puppy fresh from the farm: Matthias has the necessary experience, calm and empathy to respond individually to each dog-human team. His sound training as a dog trainer and his specialization in so-called “problem dogs” make him the ideal contact for anyone who wants clear but loving guidance for their four-legged friend.

As part of our weekly agility courses, Matthias not only brings movement, but also structure and fun to the training. His training methods are modern, suitable for everyday use and based on trust and communication. Our guests are also welcome to book Matthias for individual dog training on site at Hotel Bergzeit.

Dog trainer Charly

Our dog trainer Charly

Charly Egger is deeply rooted in his homeland – he comes from Grossarl and knows the mountains, forests and alpine pastures like the back of his hand. As a qualified dog trainer, he not only has specialist know-how, but also a special feeling for dogs and nature.

For many years, Charly was head of the Grossarl mountain rescue dog team – a responsible job that gave him extensive experience in working with dogs in challenging situations. Today he passes on his knowledge with calm and passion and accompanies our guests on the weekly dog hike to one of the idyllic mountain pastures in the Grossarl Valley.

With Charly, every hike is not only a nature experience, but also a valuable learning time for humans and dogs.
